Why we love Henlee
We've got quite a collection of Henlee products in our home - I love them for their thoughtfully aesthetic yet practical designs, and they're made from high quality, super-soft vegan leather.
Why vegan leather?
Because its WIPEABLE - stain & water resistant TICK TICK TICK!
As a mum to three kids I absolutely do not need any more items added to the washing pile, so wipe clean is an absolute must for me.
Why do aesthetics matter?
Sure, I'll say it - I am house proud. I like to live in a neat, calming and focused environment. The way I do this is with muted, neutral tones.
Now, I have three children aged 4 and under so more often than not, my house is not neat, calm or focused - however, once the kids are down for the evening and the house is returned to some sort of order, I can relax in a calm, serene environment.
I love that our Henlee products work perfectly with our home aesthetic and guests often comment on them when they come to visit - because they are beautifully designed products, I don't ever feel the need to "hide" them away when guests visit!
Multi-Use!
I like to maintain a relatively minimal home - and whilst that is not always possible with three children, I like to ensure that each item within our home is considered and can be used in many ways. This is just another reason we love the Henlee products in our house. They don't stay in one space for long because before you know it they're being used somewhere else in a totally different way!

Quilted Play mat
An absolute must have for a newborn/infant.
What is the benefit of a play mat?
It gives the baby a safe space within your home to work on their motor skills - do tummy time, play with a toy or under a play gym, and eventually they will learn to roll and sit up on it.
In our home with three children and a dog, the play mat defines the babies play space. Our dog has been trained that she is not allowed on the play mat & the older siblings know that any play they are engaging with has to be done away from the play mat to ensure baby is safe.
Why Henlee's Quilted Play Mat?
First and foremost, like all Henlee products, it is water & stain resistant. Whether it be baby spitting up milk after a feed, a nappy leak or explosion - being able to simply wipe away this mess rather than having to put it in the washing machine is an absolute game changer. I have had a linen play mat in the past and I think it spent more time in the laundry than it did being used as a play mat!
As we have a shedding dog, the hairs don't stick into the material - they simply shake right off - nobody wants a baby covered in dog hair!
It is also padded so babies can roll back and forth and be cushioned from the hard floor.
Many Uses
As it is lightweight and easily foldable, in the warmer weather I take ours outside to the washing line or in the backyard so we can enjoy some sunshine together.
My older children eat a picnic lunch on it without any concerns - I just wipe off the mess!

Did someone say UNLIMITED FUN?!
You know those soft-play places that kids are instantly drawn to but all you can think about is how grubby it must be in there and that your child is guaranteed to end up sick a few days later after visiting one of those places? Yes... I know you're following.
Now you can bring soft play into your home with a set of 4 oversized, lightweight but dense foam play blocks - an open ended concept to allow your little one's mind to run wild with play opportunities.
My kids stack them, knock them over, move them around and use them as a little seat or step up at bench tops or sinks.
They're a wall for a fort or a stand for a little cafe. They're stepping stones or a safe zone when playing "the floor is lava".

Uni Mat
This is the champion when it comes to a multi-use product. Uni Mat is universal! To be used from baby and beyond.
For a baby:
Turn any surface into a change mat with the Henlee Uni Mat! A bed, a sofa, the floor, a chest of drawers - pop the uni mat on any of these and change baby whilst keeping baby clean from dirty surfaces or keeping those surfaces clean from babies messy nappy change!
It is handy to keep one in the car too when you need to change baby while you are out - I am a huge fan of the car boot nappy change except I recently got caught out without a mat and my poor bub ended up with sand all over him! Should've put down the uni mat...
For a toddler:
A placemat at mealtime - because boy are kids messy eaters! Save your table and pop a uni mat under their dinner plate.
A messy mat - for those activities you don't want all over your table like slime, play dough etc
A drawing mat -because no matter how confident you are in your little picaso - they will miss the paper and you'll end up panicking how to get that pen/pencil/ crayon off that surface!
For an adult:
Neatly organise your workstation with a uni mat!
When you aren't using the uni-mat it has a hanging strap on the side. We like to hang ours on a peg rack which looks great and makes it easy to grab at any time.

Luxe Floor Cushion
This floor cushion is the definition of open-ended.
Henlee's Luxe Floor Cushion will arrive in two boxes - one with the cover and the other with the incredibly plus cushion insert - yep, it comes with an insert so you don't have to worry about filling it yourself! You'll sink right into it like you're sitting on a cloud.
The stylishly simple design features piped edges and a handle on top, making it incredibly easy to move from space to space. The material is so buttery soft and it is incredibly generous in size.
My children love using it in a corner of their bedroom to create a reading nook for quiet time. When they've had enough of being calm they drag it over to a bed or sofa and use it as a crash pad to jump onto.
In the playroom it gives the kids somewhere to sit, to practice tumbling or to soften their landing when playing with the Pikler triangle.
My two year old will regularly curl up onto it to enjoy some moments of calm and I love using it so I can play with the children at floor-level.
My dog (a Labrador) even decided to try and claim it as hers as a pet bed - which wasn't a bad idea as the hair just falls off it and she looked extremely comfy.
When it isn't in use, you can slide it under a bed, or my favourite is to stand it up against a wall. It looks great so there is no need to hide it away!

Mini Lounger
We have not just one, but two Henlee Mini Loungers.
These are bean bag loungers - but don't be concerned about the beans - they are filled into an insert with child-proof zips. The inserts feature two separate compartments which make them incredibly easy to fill and it ensures the filling is distributed evenly throughout the lounger. I purchased x4 100L bags of beans from Big W (large bean bag fill) and used just under 200L in each lounger - I like the full look but you could use less for a more relaxed look.
Once filled, you place the inserts into the vegan-leather lounger which is secured closed by another safety zip - trust me, your kids aren't getting these open!
There are a handful of (muted) colours to choose from - I chose to mix and match and went with ecru and sage - I'm so happy with this choice as they look great alongside one another but also great on their own!
Ours have a pretty permanent home in our living room. They are dedicated seats for my children so they can keep their grubby hands and feet off my sofas. They love hanging out on them, jumping on them and pushing them around to have secret meetings in the hallway.
They are the perfect height for the kids to enjoy a snack at the coffee table (why is it that kids want to eat anywhere other than the dining table?) and I don't have to stress as with all Henlee products they are wipeable so if they spill some food or drink on the lounger it will wipe straight off.
All of our guests comment on how cool they look and can't help but walk over an take a seat on them! They are "mini" to suit children but an adult can still sit on one for a short period of time (if you are after an adult size one, they have you covered too! Biggie loungers are here).
My kids are too young for movie nights but I could imagine how much fun the kids would have pulling up their mini beanbag chair to watch a movie with a friend!
